Beautiful house -
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property. There are enough home comforts to not want to ever leave. The house has been completed to an outstanding quality. The area it is situated in is Ideal for touring. The CANAL du MIDI is close by and well worth a visit. Across the road from the property are vineyards, which you can Cycle through, enjoying the beautiful scenery. The coast is about an hour away, either Narbonne or Canet Plage. Both worth a visit. Carcassonne is a short drive and is one of the nicest cities I have had the pleasure of visiting.The property has a good outside space for enjoying the warm days and evenings. The barbeque is excellent . There are numerous games available. Wi, board games, 100's of dvd's and CD's. You will never be bored. There is even a small library of books.
I would hope to return here as soon as possible. The owners should be extremely proud of what they have achieved.

Fantastic accommodation & a perfect location. Fabulous Chateau & a credit to the owners, such high quality workmanship. All facilities perfect. Felt just like being at home ! Nothing has been left to chance by the owners. Was so relaxing, just didn't want to leave!, the roof top terrace a great extra feature. Capendu was a lovely place & perfectly located for touring & exploring. Narbone & Canet Plage lovely beaches. Carcassone ! Wow, spectacular. As was our tour of the canal de midi. Just sooo much to do & places to see. Ideal location for cycling & two tennis clubs close by. Cannot see how anyone can have anything but a fabulous holiday here

Exceptional Location -
The location for Petite Chateau is in an exceptionally interesting region. Located close to Carcassonne with its outstanding medieval links, it is a must for anyone visiting the area. Also located near Narbonne, another interesting and vibrant city. The nearby Canal du Midi offers another interesting location and is one of the outstanding features of the region. A variety of trips on the canal can be accessed. Then there are numerous seaside locations on the Med and are easily accessed by good road networks. The countryside around also abounds with vineyards and lots of places to sample the local wines. So historically and geographically the region has lots to offer-
This is a place that made us feel comfortable and also very special.

Petite Chateau...A Home away from Home -
Our overall impression of this property was that it was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. Very rare to get three out of three but you do here. A lot of thought has gone into making this home special, thank you Andy & Chris for making it so. Capendu is a lovely village, and after acquainting ourselves with the surrounding area, we felt very much at home here. Two weeks went by in a flash, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Perfect house and location -
The house is located in a very interesting region surrounded by vineyards, with plenty of opportunity for wine tastings. Good road access to the Narbonne coast, and medieval towns and villages, access to the Canal du Midi is within walking distance. Let petite Chateau is a wonderful house full of character with all the rooms absolutely immaculate, Andy and Chris have thought of everything for a perfect welcoming holiday.

A Sunny November Break -
What a beautiful little house with its sunny roof terrace. Chris and Andy couldn't have been more helpful given three days notice of me wanting to visit.They even let me arrive a day early. The interior was beautifully renovated and well-
Planes Trains and Automobiles

We traveled to capendu, first by plane from Doncaster airport to Paris. We stayed one night in Paris. Then we caught a train to, carcasson. We traveled first class, which was brilliant. We was on the upstairs of the train. So he had great seats, and a fantastic view of the French country side. The train journey, took five hours. It went by so fast, a lot better than flying. From carcasson train station, we got a taxi to the airport and picked up our hire car.. we then traveled to Andy and Christine’s house in capendu. The house is beautiful. So much thought and detail has gone into its restoration. There is plenty of room, plus two bathrooms which always come in handy. There is plenty of room to sit outside, and to have a barbecue. We didn’t cook in, the kitchen, the weather was too nice. The house has everything you could possibly need. Washer, dishwasher, iron ironing board etc. It is very well equipped, for all your needs. You do need a car, while you are there. But capendu, is very well situated to travel to many of the beautiful places that are in the area. I can not recommend Andy and Christine’s house enough. They have thought about all the needs of a holiday maker. When our week was up, we took the car back to the airport. Got a taxi to the train station. Then we caught the train to Barcelona. Which only took about two hours. We then had two great days in Barcelona and then we flew back to Manchester airport. Thanks Andy and Chris for letting us stay in your beautiful house. “Character house with sunny roof terrace views of the Black and Alaric mountains”
Lovely accommodation, great location ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We have just returned from a very enjoyable 10 days at Petite Chateau, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The roof terrace is perfect for catching the sun.
The property is ideally located to explore the Languedoc region, we particularly enjoyed visiting the towns and villages along the canal du midi.

Totally relaxing! -
A really lovely peaceful village, would highly recommend a wander round, especially for their crusty bread in a morning and their wine is nice too!!! On our arrival we were all so excited to see what was behind the doors, we instantly felt at home. It is immaculate, the decor is all tasteful and up to date and it feels so homely. It is a perfect holiday home to be able to spend quality time together as a family, there are lots of DVD's, CD's and games available and it is spacious enough for everyone to do their own thing if needed. The kids thought it was an adventure everyday making their way to the roof terrace via the turret! A car is essential to fully appreciate the area.
